Definition: – The full form of CSS is cascading style sheets. CSS is set of rules which define style (font, color, look, alignments) for HTML elements.
Point 1:- CSS syntax has three parts selector, property and value.
Selector: – Here we need to specify on which element we want to apply the rule.
Property: – The style name like color, font, alignment etc.
Value: – The value of the style. For example for color it can be blue value. For font-size it is 16 px.
Point 2:- The CSS code should be written inside “<style>” tag as shown in the above figure.
For example below is a simple CSS code which says to make font size to 80 pixel for all paragraph HTML elements i.e. <P>.
