In SSIS Package Control Flow defines the tasks to be executed.
Example: We define operations such as “Execute TSqlCommand on Database”, “Send Mail” etc. in Control Flow.
In the control flow section of SSIS designer we use precedence constraints to define
- Order or sequence in which control flow elements will be executed.
- Condition when it should execute – it means it will let us define whether next Control Flow element should be executed if previous one fails or succeeds. We can also mark it to execute every time.
